RecX® is a java based tool designed to extract records
from the cells of tables found in microfilm documents
using an ontology. Currently, we have applied this
tool in the domain of genealogical tables.
RecX® was developed by the
Revitalizing
Data in Historical Documents Laboratory at Brigham Young
University by Kenneth Tubbs under the direction of Professor
David W. Embley.
